Taught by Lori Peifer - Lori’s back in the kitchen teaching her original Sourdough class with a new twist.  Learn the basics of making your own Sourdough Starter from scratch.  Learn how to revive a dry or frozen sourdough starter. Tips and techniques for feeding and caring for your starter. Learn to make a classic Sourdough Loaf in a cast iron Dutch oven.  Also learn to make it using a Two Loaf Pan Method (maybe you can’t or don’t want to lift a Dutch oven). We will cover adding Mix-Ins to your loaves as well as a Bonus Recipe of Compound Butter to go with your samples at class. Tips, Techniques, and How-Tos abundant in this class.  This special class cost $55 and INCLUDES a Dehydrated or Live Sourdough Starter in your class fee.

 

Payment is required at time of registration. Classes are demonstration style, unless otherwise noted. Attendees watch an instructor and learn each recipe step by step. All class attendees must be 12 years or older; those under 16 must also have a parent or adult register AND attend/register a space for the class with them. Classes are for paid attendees only. We kindly ask that attendees not bring children or infants with them to class.  Classes are BYOB; we provide tea, water & coffee.

If you cannot attend a class for which you’re registered, you will need to notify us at least 5 days before the day of the class to receive a full refund or store credit, or to switch to a different class. No exceptions.
